First, let me state that you asked me if I was willing to 'depart with you' in your initial post. I agreed, but you departed off the scene, and returned with a different name. At least, I was honest enough to announce my name change in the hope of some good discussions. Now, you want to label me as an SSNP member. That's fine, I know who I am. your labels are nothing more than childish self defense mechanisms.
As I have stated time and again, my religion is none of your business. The fact that you are trying to guess my religion shows that you are stuck with the crappy mentality that continues to make us subservient to outside entities.
I am here as a Lebanese, and if you consider anyone who doesn't think like you a member of the 'taboor khamis', then you don't deserve a country, my 'resilient' Lebanese friend. Your Lebanon exists in the imagination of a cult of people that has brought nothing but death and destruction to my 'Lebanon'. My Lebanon is a country where we introduce ourselves by our person and not religion. My Lebanon is a country where we can discuss issues as civilized human beings regardless of our ideology. You show up on this forum, assuming God knows how many identities, claim to hold the torch for your country, use the name 'Maronite' as if that qualifies you more than anyone to be Lebanese, slam the 'Orthodox' faith without any proof, and expect any of us to take your seriously. I am so disappointed in people like you. I was expecting the defenders of our country to be above the stupid religious crap and the silly slogans. You have done nothing but defeat the cause of our country.
Your reasons behind the spark that started the war is a cop out. Let's talk about the fuel that made that spark so important. How did we get to the point where a spark could destroy our country? Why don't you work on some 'Axioms' for that one! You're such a hypocrite. Honestly, I was expecting better out of you, but you turned out to be just another joker masquarading behind fancy language.
Samir Geagea is NOT a Maronite cause, you simpleton. Samir Geagea is a Lebanese cause. Samir Geagea is a freedom of speech cause. Don't lay claim to something and tarnish it with your sectarian garbage. Samir Geagea is a man of integrity. Samir Geagea understood the dynamics of the Lebanese war, that was why he chose the path he did. Samir Geagea closed the LF offices in Israel and opened them in Iraq, because he put the well being of his constituents above and beyond any other. I am proud of leaders like Geagea and Wakim who brave the odds and speak their minds. They are the true measures of leadership. Yes, the christian existance was and continues to be in danger, and that is not strictly a Maronite cause. This is what irkes me about you. There are other christians in our country, besides the Maronites and the Orthodox that you sooooo obviously despise. There are also other minorities that are are in danger when sectarian mentalities get more power. I hope you can understand that.
My friend, you are living in denial. The Palestinians, Syrians and Israelis did not cause our problems. WE CAUSED our problems, and they took advantage of us. It's that simple. Until there comes a day when we stop acting the way we have for decades, and start to listen instead of foaming at the mouth, things will neven change.
Again, please show me how you intend to make our country's borders secure, and force Syria to put an embassy in Lebanon. Believe me, I am for the above, even more than you are, because I want my country to belong to all of its people. I am willing to listen. Unlike you, I want to hear what everyone, EVERYONE, has to say.
As for the collusion of the Maronite church with the Zionist entity in the early part o the 20th century, I will produce names of books written by Zionists and other researchers. Perhaps, you will label them as SSNP agents too.
