Greetings..
A point in order: In my postings to Elias I would be addressing all those who represent or belong to his school of thought, despite the fact that in his last response he tried to disengage himself from the groups I hinted to. That displays a lot of courage(!!!) on his part. With friends like him the Lebanese rightist groups don't need enemies, not for the lack of them, of course.
Ya Elias..Antoun here.
1- The Syrian Social Nationalist Party has the right to take whatever action or actions it deems appropriate, provided that these actions serve the interest of the nation. The interest of Syria is above all other interests. In other words, SSNP does not need your permission, or any body's consent to carry out missions that it perceives suitable.
2- Basheer Gemayel committed treachery against our people in Lebanon. His actions towards allowing the Jews easy access to Lebanon threatened the Lebanese entity and exposed the SSNP interests to our enemies. He chose his fate.
3- Riad Al-Solh, viewed erroneously by many as the hero of independence, was a direct accomplice with Hosni Al-Zaeem of Sham in the criminal execution of Antoun Saadah (July 8, 1949). Both faced the same fate.
4- The authority by which the SSNP carried out these missions is extracted from the fact that "treachery must be eliminated wherever it is", and that the SSNP is the custodian of the Syrian interests throughout our nation. When treachery is committed by a regime in one of the Syrian entities SSNP does not expect that very regime, through its laws, to judge such traitors.
5- We do not play around questions, but rather we hit things, whatever they are, right on the spot, but it seems that you are blinded to see whatever is posted through the right vision, because you lack such vision. We have noticed your frustration and nervousness in your answers. Many of us at times were easy with you, giving you the benifit of the doubt, you and your pal Pal. You do have a problem with your communication skills, and you don't have what it takes to be a communicator, let alone a debater.
6- As for Jumblatt, or any other Lebanese politicians who issued sectarian remarks against sects or religious denominations other than theirs, the SSNP never, I say never, failed to face them. The Party offered martyrs in defending villages and towns while confronting the "Ishtiraqiyyeh" and "Hizbullah" to protect Christian minorities in certain areas of Lebanon. When Ga3ga3 and 3oun started biting each other, many Christian families who fled the barking matches took refuge at Qawmeyyeen families in Mount Lebanon and Beqa3. Your argument in this point is as shallow as that in the Palestinian case.
7- It seems to me that you are worried about the SSNP when what you call "peace" would prevail in the region. I can assure you that the SSNP will act according to its principles. I don't believe that the SSNP is out to kill whoever sign a "treaty" with our enemies, or even those who consider the Jews as friends. SSNP, leadership and members, reserves the right to choose the suitable venue in preserving and protecting the interests of the Syrian nation.
8- Your point about starting "Syrianizing" other entities before Lebanon reflects poor knowledge of the Social National aspect of the SSNP. Members of the Party are in each and every political entity of Syria, albiet their activities are not as obvious as it is in Lebanon.
9- Regarding your hope to me (us?) for more failures in the near and far future, I tell you that when I read your comments and be exposed to your twisted thoughts, I consider myself the biggest winner of all, for one reason only: I used to think like you, Elias, and this is a fact. But I won, I read Saadeh and believed in his teachings as the only way for a better future to my country and yours. You may continue to dwell in the darkness of your convictions, or join the Qawmeyyeen in their successful journey. But again, you don't have what it takes..
